EUCcuriosite --> Room A artifacts

 Very interesting facts I came across about the story of the EUC building and the artifacts displayed in this room. I posted this on EUC's instagram:

Did you know there is a collection of archeological artefacts from the Museum of Rotterdam at EUC Room A?

In this special room on the ground floor at EUC we keep these artefacts… some of which come from the 15th Century Agnietenklooster (St. Agnes Convent).
The Agnietenklooster was, indeed, later transformed into the Prinsenhof (the residence of Willem of Orange during the Dutch 80 years Liberation War where he stayed briefly there in 1574), which is where the EUC building is located nowadays!

Fun fact: Talking about the history of the EUC building, all the streets surrounding EUC have the names of all the establishments that were previously in the spot where EUC is now; namely: Prinsenhof, Botersloot and Nieuwemarkt.
