Easter in Spain

To me, the most shocking procesión was Servitas on Friday - jesus already died and it's only the virgin in a very modest throne. The lights of the streets are switched off as the virgin passes through and the crowd gets quiet. It really stirs your emotions.

Before in the past, there were two days in which there was no newspapers or bread from bakeries: Christmas and Good Friday. If we look at countries like Spain, it is impossible to deny the huge influence religion has had upon our culture.
